Overview

The Chapel of the Apostles Peter and Paul, which is located in the northeastern side of the village, was restored in 2008 after donation of the Sofokleous family (residents of Pelendri). The first construction of the church dates back to the 14th century AD, during the period of Venetian rule in Cyprus. Although the church was destroyed with the passing of the years, a small part of the original survived until today, and is a part of the new building.
