Overview

In the village there used to be three more chapels which are dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the Holy Cross and St. George. Unfortunately these chapels are not preserved today. A small shrine and the foundations of these churches remind us of their existence. We hope that with God's help they will one day be restored by the Department of Antiquities as similar church buildings and temples have been restored. If this is not possible today, let's hope that they will be restored to some extent so that the believers can at least celebrate outdoor Divine Services in these sacred places that were once the jewel, the pride and the place of solace for the residents of the community.
