The Korakou Community Council has undertaken a series of endeavors in recent years to elevate the sports facilities within the region. The athletic center boasts a state-of-the-art 100x68 meter football pitch, a fully-equipped gymnasium, spacious changing rooms, grandstands, and advanced night lighting, making it an ideal location for training groups during the summer months, as it offers low humidity and temperatures cooler than those of beach sports centers. Additionally, the community council has created a premier futsal stadium located west of the Korakou school. This state-of-the-art facility regularly hosts a variety of sports events and activities, and offers a premium pitch for 5x5 football matches available throughout the majority of the year.
