Overview
Korakou boasts architectural treasures such as three water mills and two olive mills, which attest to the village's rich agricultural heritage and abundance of water resources. One of the most notable points of interest is the ancient stone water mill, situated on the western bank of the river and adjacent to a picturesque stone bridge. Remnants of the mill's funnel and stone groove can still be observed today. The bridge, constructed with stones from the river, features an arch of intricately carved limestone stones and stone parapets on its edges. Recently, iron railings have been added for visitors' safety. To the east, visitors can access the bridge via stairs constructed by the Department of Water Development, leading to a small bridge from where the stone bridge can be viewed in its entirety.
