Overview

The Youth Center of Kyvides 'Odysseus,' was established in 1976 through the initiative of the Prosperity Council of Pano Kyvides. The name was given in memory of the community's hero, Odysseas Cleanthous. The Youth Center acquired its own building in 1985, which was constructed with state funding and voluntary work by its members. The Youth Center represents the cultural and athletic activities of the youth in the community and hosts various groups, including sports, music, scientific, dance, and theater groups with a significant history. These groups have actively participated and continue to be involved in various events in the community as well as in the Limassol province. The purpose of establishing and operating the Youth Center is to engage young people in creative activities and healthy entertainment during their free time, collaborate with all organized bodies in the community, and other Youth Centers and youth organizations at the provincial and national levels.
