Overview
The village of Gerakies, located in the valley of Marathasa, where the rich flora of the area coexists harmoniously with the churches and houses of the community. Further exploration of the flora and fauna of the area can be achieved by following the nature trail located just outside the village. The inhabitants of Gerakia produce their own local products, such as wine, zivania and palouge. The main destinations are Agia Petra, "Komma", the lower fountain and Plyma.
