Overview
The village of Kaliana is located in the valley of the river Karkotis and at an altitude of 600 m. From Nicosia is about 60 km. The landscape is divided from the river network of the river, while in the south and west of the settlement the relief becomes rough, mountainous and the altitude reaches 1,000 meters. Kalliana has a history that is lost through the centuries and this is testified by finds scattered all over the area that administratively belongs to the village.
